Summer Workshop 2014


The Summer Workshop is a meeting of teachers and students which takes place every every summer during the last week of June.

The purpose is to offer students the opportunity to meet the professors they have already known during the school year and eventually new ones. This is an intensive period of practice, particularly useful in view of the important international competions, such as the Brugge Contest.

Edition 2014

June 25th – 26th: Fortepiano
Professor: Bart van Oort
Assistant: Petra Somlai
Fee: 200 € for all students
Auditors: 100 €

June 27th – 29th: Harpsichord and Historical Tuning Technique
Professor: Bruno Procopio
Course: not just a harpsichord course, but a teaching program in which composers and pieces are associated to Historical Tuning Techniques. Theory will be supported by intense tuning practice on harspichords.
Fee: 200 € for all students
Auditors: 100 €

June 23rd – 25th: Modern Piano
Professor: William Grant Naboré
Registration after selection: candidates will be selected by M° Naboré. 
Deadline for applications: May 31st. Selected students will be informed a few days after.
Participation fee: 300 €
Auditors: 100 €

July 17th – 25th: W.A.Mozart “Le Nozze di Figaro”
Professors: Sigiswald and Marie Kuijken
Chosen pieces will be performed and a special work will be done on Mozart’s Symphony 25.
