Anastasiya Akinfina

Anastasiya Akinfina is a pianist, fortepianist and harpsichordist.
Born In Moscow 11/05/1990, Anastasia Akinfina began studying music at the age of six. Her first instrument was piano.
Taking part, received various awards in such festivals and competitions as Moscow International Festival of Chamber Music “Spring in Russia” (Moscow, 2005), International Piano Competition “Art XXI-st century” (Ukraine, 2006) etc.

In 2006 she entered piano class in Gnessin Special Music School.
At that time she turned to early music, studying harpsichord with Prof. Olga Martynova.

Since 2009 Anastasia has been studying at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory:
harpsichord, fortepiano and early chamber music with Professor Olga Martynova, piano with Prof. Michail Dubov, Prof. Yury Martynov, modern chamber music with Prof. Vyacheslav Poprugin and Prof. Sergei Kasprov, chamber-vocal ensemble with Prof. Yury Polubelov, basso continuo with Prof. Fedor Stroganov.

Anastasiya took part in many international master-classes and workshops in Moscow and in Europe playing for such renowned musicians as Marieke Spaans (Austria, 2010; Germany, 2011), Christophe Rousset (Italy, 2011), Menno van Delft (Italy, 2011), Christian Rieger (Germany, 2011), Bob van Asperen (Saint-Petersburg, Russia, 2012), Zvi Meniker (Moscow, Russia, 2012), Aline Zylberajch and Jeremy Joseph (Gmunden, Austria, 2013), Wolfgang Gluxam (Moscow, Russia, 2014), Alexei Lubimov (Italy, 2012, 2013) etc.
Anastasia plays not only solo, but also chamber music.

Anastasia plays in such venues as the Small, Rachmaninov and Myaskovsky halls of the Moscow conservatory; Russian Culture Foundation; I. Turgenev library and A. Bogolyubov library; Chamber Hall of the Moscow International House of Music; Centre-Museum named after A. Sacharov; International Centre-Museum named after Nicholas Roerich etc.
Anastasia is devoted mainly to historically informed practice. Her repertoire includes music from early baroque period to modern composers.
In 2013 she is the winner of Austrian Barock Academie, Award 2013 “Concert im RadioKulturhaus in Vienna.

Anastasiya is in the team of the Young Artists of the Accademia Europea Villa Bossi in Bodio – Varese, Italy.
